Matt had his first introduction to cosplaying, and Hal-con, in 2011 where he found himself amazed and inspired by the costumes and people he saw. The very next year he started plans for his own full costume. Upon completion of his Man of Steel costume in 2014, Matt was fortunate to find some like-minded individuals who had costumes of their own. He now spends most of his weekends suited up as a variety of characters at charitable events, fundraisers, and the children’s hospital, but is most often seen donning his flowing red cape as Superman. Cosplaying has become a real passion for Matt with the next suit, armor, helmet, or weapon always just around the corner.
